BP to support 3,000 jobs on new projects

With four new projects being granted funding or given approval yesterday at energy company BP, the company tells Recruiter the projects “will support 3,000 jobs, some of which will be new”.

The company adds that the projects will create and sustain jobs over a number of years, from the initial construction and design roles, right through to those decommissioning projects several decades in the future.

New recruits will come in at a range of experienced and entry-level, also telling Recruiter “generally we look for both — we have a big graduate intake, around 160 this year in the UK alone, but we also look for a range of experienced hires across things like operations and fundamental science”.
