New Directions has strengthened its position in pharmacy recruitment by winning a contract to become a preferred supplier with Alliance Boots.
The South Wales-based recruiter, which worked for Boots before its merger, told Recruiter it has won an 18-month contract to fill a variety of key positions within its operations. The contract will be reviewed every six months.
New Directions, which has seen its pharmacy business double in the past 12 months, recruits locum pharmacists, pharmacy managers, relief managers, dispensers and accuracy checking technicians for contracts throughout the UK.
Amber Stevens, head of pharmacy, said: "This is an excellent contract to have in our portfolio and endorses New Direction Pharmacy's status as a premier supplier to the sector across the UK."
