Berkeley Scott results on track_2

Trading statement follows boardroom turmoil

Catering recruiter Berkeley Scott said it expects its results for the year to 30 September 2006 to be broadly in line with expectations.

The company said it had substantially reduced the cost base of the business and strengthened the operational management, and that these factors would be reflected in its performance for the second half of the year.

The Company will announce its results in December.

On 22 September, the firm said that non-executive Chairman Jeremy Hamer stepped down from the Board “following a disagreement over the future management of the company." A week later, Rod Leefe, another non-executive director, also left.
