Kuwaiti companies wanting to hire overseas workers from Bangladesh are to face more stringent checks designed to protect their rights and conditions. Companies must now get the approval of the Bangladeshi Embassy in Kuwait, and contact a licensed recruitment agency in Bangladesh. This is according to Mustafa Reza Noor, Bangladeshi Ambassador to Kuwait, speaking to the Arab Times newspaper.
