The government of Western Australia (WA) has launched a recruitment drive to attract more teachers to rural areas of the state. The drive aims to fill secondary school vacancies in mathematics, physics, chemistry, English and literature. "Teachers from the UK are highly qualified and are interested in working in WA, which is why we are keen to continue this recruitment," said education minister Mark McGowan.
