Technical and engineering staffing specialist TechConsult UK has expanded into the Asia with the placement of a number of workers on projects in Singapore and Malaysia.

Technical and engineering staffing specialist TechConsult UK has expanded into the Asia with the placement of a number of workers on projects in Singapore and Malaysia.

The firm has placed several key staff within projects being carried out from Singapore by Darlington-based CTC Marine, as well as number of personnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for international firm Technip Geoproduction.

Steve Guest, TechConsult UK managing director, says: “There is increasing confidence in a lot of the sectors in which we work and a growing feeling that the Asian marketplace is one of those areas that present a lot of opportunities.

“Our candidates have the kind of skills required for the projects being carried out in Asia and we have already placed a number of key people with companies operating there and expect to place more in the months to come.”
