Three men aged between 27 and 44 have been arrested at their home addresses as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of agricultural labour, contrary to section 12 of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004*.
The arrests took place at around 5am on Friday (22 October) in the Oldbury area of the West Midlands in a joint operation conducted by the Gangmasters Licensing Authority and West Midlands Police.
The three men were taken to West Bromwich Police Station before being released on bail.
* The unlicensed supply of labour is a criminal offence under section 12 of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004.
