Global chemical distributor Univar has appointed Edward A Evans as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
 
Evans joined the firm in January after serving as executive vice-president and chief personnel officer at Allied Waste Industries in the US.

Evans’ career began in operations with Saga Foodservice in the US in the North-East followed by HR roles in the South Central and Pacific Northwest regions of the US.

Evans has also held HR support and vice president positions with Marriott Corp in Washington, DC, and was corporate HR senior vice president positions with ARAMARK Corp, first in Philadelphia and then in Los Angeles.
