Global executive search firm Boyden has appointed Betty Thayer to the board of the firm’s UK office as a non-executive director.

Thayer founded and served as deputy chair and chief executive of executive jobs site Exec-Appointments and non-execs.com, a site for non-executive directors. Both businesses were bought by the Financial Times in 2007.
