Appointments: Senior hires at Smart Solutions

Multi-sector recruiter Smart Solutions Recruitment has made two senior appointments to its board to help expand the business.
 

Multi-sector recruiter Smart Solutions Recruitment has made two senior appointments to its board to help expand the business.
 
Paul Ragan has been appointed as chairman, while Gary Ridewood is financial director.
 
Ragan and Ridewood will now concentrate on investing in up and coming Welsh companies.
 
Ragan will work with Smart chief executive Nathan Bowles to lead the company through the next stage in its growth. Ridewood will help shape the structure and financial systems of Smart to assist the company achieve its strategy of organic and acquisitive growth. The firm expects to see turnover grow by £8m in 2010 and aims to open a number of on-site locations in 2010.”
