Commercial, engineering, industrial and logistics recruiter Relay Recruitment has made two senior appointments in advance of a restructuring of the organisation.

Laura Cousins has been promoted from business manager to senior business manager, while Kate McKendrick takes over Cousins’ previous post.

Relay is preparing to move away from a network of branches to a model of multiple local hubs.

The company anticipates a £1m increase in profits this year, rising to £1.7m from just over £774,000.

Relay was purchased by multi-sector recruiter Stafforce in March.
