Appointments: Oceanic Resources announces new directors and manager

Oceanic Resources International, specialist recruiter for the freight, shipping and logistics industries, has appointed new directors for the company.

Former regional client manager, Russell Quinton, becomes sales director based at the UK head office in Ware, Hertfordshire. He is tasked with increasing headcount and marketshare within the supply chain sector.

Barney Weston is promoted to business development director from regional client manager, assuming responsibility for the commercial development of Oceanic Resources globally, with emphasis on the retained and contingency search & selection services.

Gary Keefe is also promoted from regional client manager to director of Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Based in Dubai, he is tasked with expanding Oceanic’s growth in the EMEA region, with plans to relocate to larger offices during next year and expanding the team in Dubai.

Marie Murphy expands her job function in her role as financial director, ensuring the continued growth of the company through managing the business development and operations across all regions.

Finally, senior account manager Lance Bateman is promoted to sales manager at head office, with particular focus on growing the express courier and aviation sectors throughout Europe.
