Local business search company thomsonlocal.com has appointed Liz Jervis to HR and training director.

Reporting directly to chief executive, Elio Schiavo, Jervis joins thomsonlocal.com from ZincOx Resources and will be responsible for talent management, learning and development for the firm’s 750 employees, based across the UK.

Schiavo says: “Our people are vital to the success of our company. We want to ensure that thomsonlocal.com is seen as ‘the place to be’, not only by our external customers, but also by our internal customers. Liz has the drive, ambition and vision to help us achieve our objectives.”
