The Interim Management Association (IMA) has appointed managing director at Russam GMS, Jason Atkinson, as chair, with Raj Tulsiani, co-founder and chief executive at Green Park Executive Resourcing, as vice chair for the organisation.

Atkinson and Tulsiani will focus on developing IMA’s vision for the next three years, ensuring IMA member firms are synonymous with providing exceptional quality of service, as well as highlighting the risks of using a firm which has not had to adhere to a strict code of conduct.

Atkinson says: “The last couple of years have not been easy for any industry but the interim management sector has shown its resilience and demonstrated its value to businesses in these economically challenging periods. That is why I am so pleased to have this opportunity to take forward the IMA to spearhead value for members.”

Announcements will be made later this month on the appointment of the executive committee.
