Appointments: Bannerjee is new chair at Working Links

Millie Banerjee CBE has been appointed chair of Working Links, an organisation which provides services to help get disadvantaged people into sustainable employment.

Millie Banerjee CBE has been appointed chair of Working Links, an organisation which provides services to help get disadvantaged people into sustainable employment.

Currently she chairs the British Transport Police Authority and is a non-executive director of the East London NHS Primary Care Trust Cluster.  

In addition to a career at BT, Banerjee has held a variety of directorships at public and private-sector organisations including the Sector Skills Development Agency, Channel 4, the Cabinet Office, Strategic Rail Authority, Prisons Board, Peabody Trust, Ofcom, as well as chairs at Postwatch, Carnegie UK Trust and Postcomm.

Banerjee joins as the organisation looks to grow across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
