And the award for beyond the call of duty . . .

The award for most effort expended to attend this year’s awards goes to Daniel Christian, general manager, business development at outsourced management accounting services provider QX.

Christian told Recruiter that he booked his ticket as late as 2pm on the day of the awards. He then hopped on a London-bound train from Skipton in West Yorkshire and arrived in London at 6.45pm in good time for the start of proceedings at 7.30pm.

Christian said the event was a great networking opportunity. “I wanted to attend to get a perspective on the industry and trends from upcoming innovative recruiters.

“I liked the presentation, the organisation and the planning. It is not just about the quantity but the quality of guests. It was really impressive. From a service provider’s point of view, the people we want to do business with were at the awards.”
