Amicus Recruit merges with Social Work 2000

Social work recruitment firms Amicus Recruit and Social Work 2000 have merged to form a combined company with a turnover of more than £12m.

Social work recruitment firms Amicus Recruit and Social Work 2000 have merged to form a combined company with a turnover of more than £12m.

The two companies will continue to operate as separate brands within their established markets, but expect to benefit from sharing expertise within a new group structure under the banner of 3d Recruit.

James Brown, managing director of 3d Recruit, says: “Together we feel that we can offer an even better service to the social care sector as it faces the challenges of the next decade. Our locums will also benefit from an increase in the range of work and training opportunities that we can offer them over a larger geographical area.”

Amicus founder Ben Arnold takes the role of recruitment director to head up the temporary and permanent recruitment operations of the combined group. The rest of the company management structure remains intact, while the teams will continue to operate from their existing UK offices in Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and East Sussex as well as anAustralian office in Melbourne.
