Increasing numbers of Britain’s workers are turning up to work hungover according to new findings.

A survey carried out by health cover specialist Norwich Union healthcare found that one in three workers admit arriving for work while still under the effects of alcohol.

Worryingly, one in 10 disclosed that they had been drunk at their desk.

The worst offenders are those in media and construction.
