Maximus Construction has become the first recruitment agency to become a member of the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS), the trade association for companies involved in the manufacture, supply and installation of interior fit-outs and refurbishments.

Part of the Maximus group of specialist recruitment companies, Maximus Construction focuses on the sourcing of permanent and contract staff across the UK interiors sector and already works with many of the major players across the country.

Mark Ayres (pictured), who heads up the trade recruitment division at Maximus, says: “The recent report from the Association of Consultancy and Engineering has shown that many agencies in the construction industry are falling short in terms of service to both clients and candidates.

“In the light of this we’re particularly pleased to have passed the AIS’s rigorous vetting procedure to become their very first member from the recruitment sector. We believe that organisations like our own are truly representative of the majority of recruiters who treat employers and individuals with respect and not the relatively small number of ‘cowboys’ that the industry sometime attracts.”
