East Midlands-based recruitment agency Barker Ross has launched HR Conduit, a new service providing human resources services to companies which do not have their own in-house HR department.

The new venture has been established in response to growing demand from clients and focuses on providing a bespoke service ranging from advice and implementation of recruitment and selection processes, employee management and development, motivation and reward through to dismissals.

HR consultant Sue Forsey says: “Companies without internal resources do need specialist help to avoid potentially expensive pitfalls when dealing with employees. They need to ensure that they have up-to-date policies and procedures and that employees are managed, not only within the legal framework, but to ensure optimum performance and efficiencies by having a motivated and happy workforce.
