Former employee is jailed for stealing from Lutterworth agency
A former payroll supervisor who stole £95,000 from Lutterworth-based Link Up Recruitment to pay for a luxury lifestyle for himself and his gay lover, has been jailed for 18-months.
Robert Keenan-Brown, 36, managed to steal the money by forging employees’ time sheets and creating payments to himself.
Keenan-Brown told police he acted under duress because of pressure placed on him by his former partner.
He pleaded guilty to the theft of £94,525 between 2003 and 2005.
