Advantage nurses will staff Flora health drive_2
Margarine brand Flora has awarded Advantage Healthcare a contract to provide 2,560 nurse days as part of a programme to educate the public on heart disease.
Flora Pro.Activ’s nationwide roadshow, the first of its kind, kicked off on 12 April. The campaign will run for 16 weeks. Advantage is supplying D and E grade registered nurses. They will undertake key tests for health indicators such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and offer advice at a range of locations including city centres and supermarkets. They will also be at the Flora London Marathon on 23 April.
Advantage is based in Telford, Shropshire but has 28 offices throughout the UK and has launched a nationwide campaign to recruit the required nurses.
“This is a truly groundbreaking event for the industry as a whole and of course a significant win for Advantage,” said Advantage marketing manager Melissa Gane. “Our nurses will provide a key presence for adults and people of all ages to learn more about health issues and gain important information about how to improve their heart health.”
Advantage’s brands include Montpellier Healthcare and Advantage Healthcare Nursing & Care. The firm was founded in 1998.
