High street giant Adecco plans to restructure its UK and Ireland business over the second half of 2007, but is tight-lipped on the details.
Adecco announced its second quarter results on 10 August, which included a 5% rise in revenue to £5.3bn, compared with £5.1bn for the same period last year.
On the back of the results, the company said in a statement: "Adecco plans to restructure this [UK and Ireland] business to improve customer mix and cost efficiency" at a cost of about £5m.
Recruiter contacted Adecco for comment, but a company spokesman in Switzerland said he was "too busy" to discuss the plans.
