Adecco plans to axe 600 jobs

Adecco says it plans to align its cost base to current market developments. Due to the regulatory framework in France, Adecco was obliged to inform the French Work Councils of the cuts.
Adecco companies Adecco France, Adia France and Adecco Corporate France plan to cut 600 full-time jobs and said they remain committed to continue the social dialogue with trade unions and the French Works Councils.
Adecco added it expects to invest approximately 35m euros (£27m) and this investment will cover a full set of measures for the proposed job cuts.
