IT and telecoms specialist Eutopia Solutions has invested 'a six-figure sum' setting up an academy to train the next generation of recruitment consultants.

The academy, which will be staffed by a mix of internal and external trainers, will open in September.

The first recruits will undertake three-months of training, including classroom-based learning, role-play and 'live' scenarios with clients and candidates.

"I'm thrilled about it," managing director Craig Coverman told Recruiter.

"The only constraint to our growth has been getting people on board, although funnily enough, we are finding it easier to recruit than before, because of our profile."

Coverman is looking to "aggressively" grow his company and aims to use the academy to help double Eutopia's headcount year-on-year.

The company currently employs 20 people, with offices in London and Dubai.

"It will be a very intense period of learning for the academy students, but we will be able to focus them in a more defined fashion than we've done in the past," Coverman added.
