Hotel chain Travelodge announced plans to create 710 new jobs, investing £223m in 26 new hotels over the next two years, reports The Press Association.

Hotel chain Travelodge announced plans to create 710 new jobs, investing £223m in 26 new hotels over the next two years, reports The Press Association.

Michelle Luxford, HR director at the company says: “We are passionate about developing our people and I’m proud to say that 75% of all our management appointments are filled internally.”

Ten of the new hotels, which should account for 280 new staff, will be open in time for the Olympic Games next summer in London.
