Irish recruiter CPL Resources has experienced “satisfactory” trading in H2, according to a trading update.

The update reveals the second six months of the financial year for CPL Resources has been “satisfactory” and it expects profits for the year ended 30 June 2011 to be “broadly in line with market expectations”.

The update continues: “The marketplace for our services remains challenging, with continuing pressure on margins, particularly in Ireland. However, we are experiencing some signs of improvement across our various businesses, and our operations overseas are performing well. We expect a further gradual improvement in market conditions in the coming months.”
