Xansa recruitment revenue falls

Number of contractors rises
IT firm Xansa saw revenue for its recruitment division fall to £31.7m for the year to April, from £32.3m a year ago.
It said the recruitment business had undergone a “significant change” in the year as it “re-oriented itself away from serving a small number of major accounts” to a “much broader client spread”.
During the year it signed 11 contracts on a preferred supplier basis. It said: ” In the longer term, this creates a more resilient client base.” At its year-end, Xansa had 353 contractors placed with clients, compared with 305 a year earlier.
The company’s total revenue fell 5% to £357.3m.
