Whitehead Mann looks overseas

USA and Asia have most potential

Headhunter Whitehead Mann is looking to acquire rival companies overseas, especially in the US and Asia in attempt to boost market share.

Whitehead Mann has already made one recent acquisition, albeit in the UK, when it bought headhunting firm Leonard Hull Holdings for £3.6m.

In an article in the Times, Stephen Lawrence, chief executive, said: “The US is a priority because of the size of market, although it is very competitive too,” he said. “But we are looking at the Asia Pacific region, too.

“Given that the headhunting market is strongly correlated to GDP growth, the faster economic growth makes this region more attractive than Europe.”
