Vedior IT boost
Global recruiter Vedior has posted an encouraging set of first quarter results boosted by strong executive and IT recruitment sales.
The company recorded a growth of 34% in IT recruitment sales and an organic 18% growth in professional/executive recruitment sales. Permanent placement fees also rose 14% organically.
In the UK, two organic start-up operations began trading in the first quarter of 2005.
Andrew Farr Associates started trading in the finance and accounting sector, while Supreme Education is a recent addition to the education sector.
Zach Miles, Vedior’s chief executive, said: “We are pleased that our results this quarter have clearly benefited from our strategic focus on professional/executive recruitment.
“The benefit of good organic sales growth and cost control has more than offset the continuing price pressure experienced in several markets, resulting in increased profitability.”
