Business and administration roles are popular with the migrant workers
The number of migrants from Eastern Europe seeking work in the UK rose last year, with more than 20,000 a month registering with the government.
According to Home Office statistics 100,000 Eastern Europeans registered for work in administration and business, 38,000 work in hospitality, and 19,700 are employers in agriculture.
The statistics also reveal that 2,500 are bus, lorry and coach drivers, 1,000 are employed as doctors and nurses and 700 are working as teachers, researchers and classroom assistants.
The figures do not include the self-employed, estimated at 200,000.
