Less than a third fully engaged at work, survey finds
UK employers are putting their business at risk by failing to engage with their workforce, according to a new survey.
The UK has the lowest proportion of motivated employees out of six countries surveyed with less than a third (29%) identified as being fully engaged at work.
This compares with just under half (47%) of workers in Norway, 43% in the US and 38% in Australia, says the research by HR consultancy Right Management.
Even top managers do not feel completely engaged, with only 47% of chief executives, managing directors and board members feeling ‘at one’ with their business.
