Twenty percent of firms feel neglected

Research reveals employers discontent
Two in five employers are dissatisfied with the service they get from agencies after a placement has been made, according to recent market research by Morestaff. The firm questioned 180 employers in the London area.
Morestaff co-managing director Kathy Doran blames the introduction fee system for agencies’ post-placement lapses. “A placement is rather like a marriage, and when one of the partners stops trying after the knot is tied, the other has a right to feel aggrieved that they no longer get the care and attention they had when they first met,” Doran says.
