Toy story for Aardvark Swift
The specialist video game recruitment agency Aardvark Swift has launched a recruitment service for the toy industry.
The company, which already has Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo on its client list, believes creating a toy industry recruitment desk is a natural progression.
Aardvark Swift has appointed Sam Burnside, formerly a sales manager in business-to-business media, to lead the new operation.
Burnside will spend the next few weeks researching the market and the candidates available. She hopes the increased interest in ‘retro toys’ like the Cabbage Patch Kids and Power Rangers will convince people to join the toy industry from other sectors such as computer games.
She said: “It is such an open market. There are so many new brands coming through, but people could also be attracted because they are familiar with the older toys.”
