JPA, which also specialises in commercial and graduate recruitment, says it has relaunched JPATemps after much market demand.

Charlie Ryan, who has spent 11 years in commercial recruitment, is heading the division. She says: “We want to remove the perception that a temporary candidate can be less able than a candidate who would be suitable for the permanent role. After all the temporary candidate has less of an induction, often has to take things on board at a faster pace and demonstrate their worth in the role. Surely they need to be of even higher calibre than the permanent candidate or at least as competent and capable. We are removing the “we only need a temp” or it’s “just a temp” role and ensuring the best candidate for the role is provided regardless of whether that role is temporary or permanent."
