Penny Streeter (pictured), the entrepreneur behind the temporary healthcare recruitment firm Ambition 24hours, has expanded her business to cater for allied healthcare professionals.

The new service, which is called Ambition 24hours Allied, provides temporary and permanent workers from ambulance staff to dentists, opticians, psychologists and speech therapists. As the company name suggests, the firm offers staff for NHS and private sector posts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Streeter has achieved several accolades for her business acumen, including making three consecutive appearances in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Fastest Growing UK Companies list.

She is the current Management Today top woman entrepreneur.
