Scottish Water has appointed NRG Group as a new supplier of staffing services.

The recruitment company, which is based in Newcastle, has had operations in Scotland since 1997.

“We are delighted to have been selected as Scottish Water’s recruitment partner,” said Therese Liddle, managing director of NRG Group.

“We will be sourcing and selecting candidates across a diverse skill base throughout Scotland.”

NRG joins Adecco as a preferred supplier for Scottish Water.

The water company employs 4,200 people across Scotland and provides water and waste water services to 2.2m domestic customers and 130,000 business customers.

A spokesman for the water company said: “After a lengthy selection process, we have chosen NRG Group as a preferred supplier because we believe that they will offer the best and most efficient service. Effective, value-for-money recruitment of new and temporary staff will contribute towards making Scottish Water more efficient.”
