Good news for headhunter
Headhunter Rockpools has won the contract to find the chair, chief executive and board of the new Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), the body charged with managing public money spent on the games’ venues and infrastructure.
Recruiter can reveal the London-based public sector specialist fought off competition from some of the most established players in the industry to land this highly sought-after contract.
Meanwhile, Andy Wong, managing director of Jobsgopublic, has been seconded in to hire the interim authority working under the direction of the board to deliver the games.
The ODA will employ 200 permanent staff and work with 6,000 contractors working on property, procurement, infrastructure, planning and design.
