Current deputy chief exec assumes role vacated by Osborne

Marcia Roberts has been named as the new chief executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.

The REC Board unanimously agreed that Roberts, who is both a former recruiter and a former purchaser of recruitment services, was the ideal person for the role, according to an REC statement.
