RIB seeks boost
The Recruitment Industry Benchmarking Index (RIB) is planning a major push to woo new members.
RIB currently has around 70 inputs a month from its members. Founder Romney Rawes (pictured) aims to bring membership levels up to 100 and will use mailshots, telesales and workshops to spread the word.
Rawes said recruitment consultancies always liked the idea of RIB but it was a challenge to convince them to sign up.
Set up two years ago, RIB is a not-for-profit organisation that uses validated data from member organisations – who pay £150 a month – to measure success in 32 different criteria.
At the workshops in central London on 19 and 28 January 2005, people signing up on the day will be offered a voucher worth £500 that can be redeemed against a menu of services useful to their business, such as training.
