Retail recruiter RHR's profits up 25%

The retail recruitment consultancy Retail Human Resources (RHR) has published full results for the full year ended 30 June 2004, revealing a profit increase of more than 25%.

RHR achieved a turnover of just under £7.5m and pre-tax profits of £1.4m, up from £1.1m in 2003.

RHR was set up in the 1980s and also offers an advertising agency in addition to recruitment services.

Managing director Peter Burgess said: “The company has retained and enhanced its reputation as both the most professional and largest independent recruiter in this sector. We are very pleased with the results, with all the parts of the business performing well, particularly RHR’s internet arm.

“The company is in a very strong position to grow further and we intend to increase our headcount and, therefore, market penetration substantially in the coming year.”
