A new film about the recruitment of immigrant labour was unveiled at the Venice Film Festival last weekend.

Ken Loach’s gritty “It’s A Free World” gives a less-than-glowing view of opportunism and exploitation in recruiting Eastern European workers. The film is set to be released in the UK on DVD in October, and will also be shown on Channel 4 before being released to cinemas.
