REC in training boost
Scheme launched to aid start-ups
The Recruitment and Employment Confederation has launched a scheme to help start-up agencies get the training, support and contacts they need to run their businesses.
The Recruitment Industry Taskforce for Enterprise (RITE) claims to be the only industry-specific enterprise support service in the UK. Budding new businesses can apply to RITE and, if successful, they will receive a bespoke three-year package of training, with the support of industry mentors and access to preferred industry suppliers.
“Agencies still have problems finding a decent bank manager or accountant, or finding suppliers who aren’t going to try and sell them something they don’t need,” said Denise Walker, who is in charge of the initiative. For more information please contact her on 020 7462 3290.
