The Recruitment and Employment Confederation's driver agency group chairman has described a recent meeting with managed service provider de Poel as "very productive".
Andrew Horner met with representatives of de Poel on 4 September to discuss concerns about its controversial driver database and complaints of unprofitable work (Recruiter, 6 September).
Horner told Recruiter: "The meeting was excellent -- very productive. I was able to put the driver agencies' concerns to de Poel and they were very open and honest.
"We want to work with them. They want to work with us, and will attend the next sector meeting in October."
