Manpower undergoes streamlining
Global giant Manpower will soon trade under just five brands across the world, after a major streamlining and re-branding programme.
The firm, which operates in more than 72 countries, is reducing its number of brands from 200 to reflect the expanded range of services it now offers.
The move represents the biggest re-branding since the company was formed in 1948, and has necessitated extensive training for more than 27,000 employees.
All 4,400 offices worldwide will now trade as one of the following: Manpower, Manpower Professional, Elan, Jefferson Wells or Right Management.
Chairman and chief executive Jeff Joerres says the move reflects the changing nature of the business, which now includes services such as outsourcing and consultancy.
