Quality Mark for Supreme Education
Supreme Education has achieved the Quality Mark for the provision of supply teachers to local authorities across the UK.
The Quality Mark, a joint initiative between the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and Recruitment and Employment Confederation, sets minimum standards for agencies and local authorities recruiting supply teachers. In order to achieve the Quality Mark, Supreme Education met the minimum standards, which include assessment on security and vetting, as well as how the organisation relates to both supply teachers and schools on a daily basis.
Gareth Williams, managing director of Supreme Education, says: “Achieving the Quality Mark for supply teacher recruitment provides valuable endorsement of our focus on recruiting to the highest standards laid down by the DfES. Furthermore, not only does it gives us a level playing field in terms of quality against conventional and less cost effective education recruiters, it also demonstrates that our automated system is supported by the highest quality provision of classroom staff, with controls in place for safeguarding children that are second to none.”
