Public sector specialist Step Ahead has restructured into four new divisions as a result of approaches from increasingly diverse client organisations.

Managing director Jackie Bedford says that rather than dilute the company’s public sector focus, it has been decided to create separate divisions for each of the different areas of the company’s business. The divisions will be central government and public sector, charity and not for profit, local authority, and private sector.

She adds that the restructure does away with the traditional branch set-up. Instead, the different divisions will each be run by a dedicated manager and team which is entirely focused on finding the right staff for its particular division.
