The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) is to extend its approved recruiter membership to three selected agencies.

Currently Pfj (Phee Farrer Jones), Pricejamieson and Corps Business have signed up to the approved recruiter membership scheme, which was established in 2006 to bring recruitment consultancies closer to the UK magazine publishers represented by PPA's membership.

The scheme has been designed to develop and encourage strong partnerships between member publishing companies and their recruitment advisors, to give profile and recognition to reliable recruitment companies and to enable those suppliers to enjoy the same services and benefits as publisher members.

All applications for membership are submitted to the PPA Board of Directors for approval and five references are required, including three from existing PPA members to ensure that only credible and quality service providers can join the scheme.
