Only one-in-five enjoy going to work
Nearly a third of people surveyed in research by recruiter Brook Street dread going to work each day.
With the new year having just started, as many as 30% say they dread the thought of work, and 29% snooze the alarm in the mornings to put off going to work.
“Too many people get caught up in the daily routine of just getting up and going to work without actually evaluating their job progress or career opportunities,” says Erika Bannerman, sales and marketing director, Brook Street.
Further, only 21% of respondents said they actually enjoyed going to work.
