Former FA chief in interim management
Former Football Association head Mark Palios has moved back into interim management after quitting football’s top job following the Faria Alam sex scandal.
Palios has returned to his roots as head of the UK practice of FTI Palladium Partners, which specialises in providing interim managers to turn around troubled companies.
“It is a very specific area of the interim management industry and what I have been doing for a number of years,” he told Recruiter.
FTI interims typically stay for 12-18 months in a company and devote 90% of their time to the turnaround job. They receive an hourly rate and a performance-related fee or equity stake.
